South Cumbria Kingfishers

Returns

It is exceedingly important that we maintain accurate records of both fishing effort and fish caught. This data is crucial for us to be able to manage our fisheries to the best advantage of our shareholders.

All Shareholders are requested to submit a return each year at the end of the season, to be recieved by end of November.

Even if you caught no fish we still want to know if you went fishing, and how many times to each beat. All returns recieved are entered into a draw and the winner recieves a free subscription for the following year. A Return Form is sent out with the annual newsletter.

In addition you can get a Return Form here (Excel) or (PDF). You can either print this, complete manually and send to the Secretary, or complete the Word version electronically and e-mail to the Secretary

Please note that in addition you must also make a Return to the Environmental Agency. The EA place great emphasis on rod catch as measure of the health of a salmonid fishery. If you caught Salmon on the Crake in the years leading up to the Catch and Release restriction, but did not bother to report them to the EA, then you are in part directly responsible for this current, unnecessary, restriction.
