South Cumbria Kingfishers is able to arrange angling coaching and events for Schools, Youth Groups and other organisations. These can range from ‘one off’ taster days right through to programmes that can link into a school or college curriculum through recognised qualifications (OCN or ASDAN). We are particularly keen to improve access to angling to people with disabilities and others who may currently have limited opportunity to participate. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you think we may be able to help. We will be pleased to come and talk to you and explore all the options.

Heversham St Peters SchoolThirty eight children and parents descended on Farletonview Fishery to try their hand at Fly Fishing. All the youngsters caught trout and even one or two of the parents managed a fish! 
Well done Dad! Proving yet again that the WI is not afraid to break new ground and tackle anything, these members made light of gale force winds to demonstrate a remarkable passion for angling.
