You've just found the website for keen young anglers in South Cumbria. Whether you are just starting or you are already fishing this is the place to be. South Cumbria Kingfishers runs all sorts of fishing coaching sessions and events throughout the year - just for junior anglers. We even have our own fisheries especially reserved just for you and plenty of friendly experienced coaches to get you on the right track.

Have a good look around the website and then come and join us. All it costs is just £15.00 a year for as much fishing as you like - and if you've just started we can even provide you with fishing tackle until you get your own.

Pink Wellies Attract Trout

Eight year old Georgina Atkinson strikes again!

Tom Anderson, 8, fished like an expert at Stans Pond catching several good trout including this one of nearly 2lbs.

Another fish on!

Nine year old Daniel Bleasdale from Ulverston into yet another fish on a cold April day at Stan's. Daniel finished the day with 14 fish - not bad for a beginner!

Andrew Read, 12, from Barrow had a good day which included this good sized fish.

Ellie McKee and Rebecca Thompson land yet another trout from Stan's Pond, our very own coaching water in South Cumbria. We use game and coarse fisheries all over the region to hold our events, choosing those that are ideally suited for beginners and improvers.
